What's up with all those crazy people who get upset with people abbreviating "Christmas" by writing "Xmas"?
Mostly it's just crazy conservative Christians who think that we're losing the true meaning of Christmas.
Well you know what, the true meaning of Christmas is about presents. Presents and presents and eggnog.
And I make damn good eggnog if I don't say so myself. My coworkers at the office all agree too. If you
want the recipe just ask me or do a search on the internet.
Back to the topic at hand. The true meaning of Christmas, is that Christians celebrate Jesus' birth.
So what? We all know this? Who doesn't know that? Should well go out and sit in some stables for a
while? Well, I don't think we could all fit in a stable and I don't fancy the smell of horse manure on
a cold Christmas morning. Do you? Well be my guest, but don't track that shit back into my house.
I doubt people will forget the true meaning of Christmas, but you know what conservative Christians,
it's already a holiday so leave it at that. You got your holiday; now you bitch about it's name or how
people write the name. You people are idiotic; constantly bitching about this or that, or this country's
going to hell and what not. Seems like you're the only ones bitching about it so STFU already. "Xmas"
is just easier and quick to write or text. Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year too.
