Websites written in Flash are really starting to piss me off. I can't stand how the designers try to
be all cutesy with their little buttons and animations and all the other unnecessary garbage that goes
along with Flash.
I just want a simple site that I can navigate easily. I don't like having to guess where the information I
need is. Another thing I don't like is that you have to "load" the page completely before you can view it.
This technique is done so that when all of those fancy effects take place, the browser doesn't have to wait to
load the next picture or graphic or sound or other such nonsense. On my page you can see the information as
it loads, much better in my opinion.
Another thing that is starting to become a huge nusiance is that retarded effect where if I mouseover a link, a
a popup box comes up and gives me some advertising. It's the new popup 'cuz the browser designers all got smart
and listened to their users and made popup blockers. Those crafty advertisers have come up with new ways
to get their sh*t websites adverts in my way while I'm surfing.
I also loathe those sites that have floating navigation bars that scroll down with you as the page scrolls. While
you might think they're a good idea, they are almost always poorly implemented and take up a lot of browser
resources to display properly.
Seems that I don't like a lot of things about the internet...
